Can now do Wed too if that's better for everyone? And is anyone else around or is it just the SE5/SE15 crew? If so I might suggest checking out the Crooked Well.... - lots of sofas and space for the little ones. No changing table but changing mat in the disabled loo on the ground floor.
Hi all. I'm a longterm ED resident but i've been away for the past 9 months. I gave birth to my baby girl in May,and we're due to move back to ED over the next few months. Can we crash the next group meet-up? it'd be great to meet some little ones who are baby girl's age! She is very social!

Louise, you'd be more than welcome. We're not the most organised group but maybe this will improve when the weather gets colder and cabin fever sets in.

Are there only 3 (I mean 6 or maybe even 7) of us tomorrow? House is good, but if there are a few of us then buggy space might be a problem. I've been trying to think of somewhere nearby where there is a bit of floor space so we could maybe put a blanket down and let the babies wriggle and roll around.

Looking forward to catching up.

Hi,

I'm another newbie to east dulwich having just moved back from Australia with a lively (!) 4 month old daughter so i'd love to tag along to the next group too. Or if any other new people fancy a coffee then PM me as both Daisy and I are missing our weekly mothers group from OZ.

if anyone fancies it yak and i are going to the horniman aquarium today at 3pm, feel free to join us.

Also how about a meet up next week? Thursday is good for me and I'm happy to meet out or host if we want rolling space.... toddlers welcome too....

Welcome to all newcomers! Yes do join us today if you are around - pm me if you'd like my mob no. Thurs next week works for us, either at mrs f's or a cafe with space for wrigglers. Any suggestions of where is good? Blackkat, wanhope & patt1980 whereabouts are you based? We have tended to hang out in se5 / SE15 but we can meet more centrally in e dulwich if that works for you.
We are starting swimming lessons from Thursday next week, but could meet in the morning. We won't pop along today as baby has a yucky cold which I don't want her to pass on. I'm based north of Goose Green. Happy to meet anywhere nearby.

Hi - no `I can't am afraid - 1-3pm = sacred 2 yr old nap time!! If I could only get the baby to sleep then too my life would be MUCH better...

No worries anyway I will catch up with you soon. I need some people to moan about weaning with - anyone else there yet? Suppose not....

    • I had not realised your photographs were of the road I live in - which I must admit I do not recognize. I had though they were not Underhill Road  but elsewhere. Apologies. I had thought I was writing of my own experiences in Underhill Road but obviously I don't know my own streets. When the men I watch tip rubbish into their lorries they do not seem to spill out into the road, but obviously my eyes aren't good enough to see this.
    • It was around New Year 2023; I had walked my dog past the exact spot late that evening before it happened. There were a lot of cars in Straker's Road that night playing loud music. "Roadmen" Alice. We all know who they are but you are daring, through the use of public shaming and ostracism, people to declare something you already know. Tut tut Alice, white boys also affect a Roadman persona. There was a statistic I read on a council advert at a bus stop in Lambeth, it said "99% of young people in Lambeth have never been in trouble with the police". We all know 99% of the 1% are Roadmen so lets not pretend any further.
    • “Peckham rye is a very safe place to be” was someone not murdered for a phone a few years back, also daily muggings happening at the park if you look outside of you bubble
    • Is that your comment; people shouldn't overfill their bins? Nobody does. All those bins had lids closed. The problem is when they open them and the bin tips into the lorry and half a dozen pieces of litter fall to the floor. Are you actually denying photographic evidence?
