Things I have accumulated...

without having a need for.

Have been drinking the same variety of coffee for years and have dozens of 100gm and 200 gm jars all dishwasher clean and label and gum free. The 100gm make a reasonable jam or chutney jar and the 200 gm store kitchen ingredients such as nuts, caster and icing sugar, lentils etc, etc..

Is there anyone who feels a need to get organised?

I also have plastic dispensers (given with bottles of washing gel) of clothes washing liquids. Also plastic mouldings which I think could be used in a nursery group to grow mustard and cress or do they still have "making boxes" for building rockets etc?

TO my mind this posting should be the outright winner of this year's E.D.F Green Thought-throughness award; and also nominated for the 2017, This Is What Forums Are For prize. (If helpful pix materialise, I would vote for it to go straight through to the final short-listing).

Were there a contest for having a way with words, Gbaw, you'd scoop that too.

    • My mum lost her cerise pink longline purse around 4pm today. Last had it in the Organic Shop on Lordship Lane.  Called them but they haven’t had anything handed in.  If anyone has found it please let me know. Thank you.
    • Ofcom does charge Royal Mail for not delivering First and Second class mail on time, but it's done by metrics and not individual cases. They fined them £5.6m last year. Saying that, it's probably cheaper for Royal Mail to take the fine than to hire more carriers. I can see the industry moving towards a gig economy style thing in the future, akin to Amazon Flex
    • I just think some owners are a bit dippy, they aren't aware that dogs cause a lot of issues for wildlife. Ground nest birds will abandon their young, foxes and badgers will abandon their dens, rats and mice will relocate into people's gardens and houses, squirrels and birds typically avoid dog heavy areas too. There are a lot of parks in the area that allow for unleashed dogs, so it really makes no sense to ruin the lives of other animals because the owner simply cannot be arsed.
    • Post that isn't tracked won't be a priority.  There are no fines issued to the postal service for failing to deliver ordinary letters.  So until the policy changes general letters will be late.  Post office staff are not being given great contracts anymore and they often being pushed to the maximum for not a great deal.   But getting letters late does cause issues.
