Selling Christmas trees-in Nov!

I would never normally ask this but I have a visitor staying from 1st Dec, and wanted the decs up!

Anywhere selling trees early?

I saw some yesterday in Sainsburys on Dog Kennel Hill but they aren't the huge, tall ones.

Probably because people cannot get the big ones in their car.

They could be the smaller 'living' Christmas trees that come in a pot which you can keep indoors over Christmas, and then plant out in the garden afterwards. Before planting out it's possible to transplant the tree into a slightly bigger pot, then plant the potted tree into the border, and next year simply remove the potted tree, hey presto, a slightly bigger Christmas tree...

The Christmas Forest on the corner of Dulwich common (opposite old harvester) start selling their trees last weekend in November. We get our (huge) tree for a local primary school from them and the quality is always fantastic and the tree lasts pretty well (despite the over-bearing heat in the school hall....)

I bought mine online several days ago, used a company called Fantastic Services. Turns out they do Christmas tree deliveries as well as installation. I paid only for the tree, they did the rest for free. Hope that helps solve your problem.

The tress in Sainsburys are the living trees in a pot, I think. When I said they were they were not the huge ones etc, I was merely pointing that out in case the person enquiring was looking for a bigger tree!

They are selling trees next to The Plough for St Christopher's Hospice, across road from there outside the florists, and at the side of The Cherry Tree pub.
