josborn
Hi I have a problem with mould in wardrobe. I don't really know what sort of tradesman I need but hoping someone can help! It's a built-in wardrobe on a north facing wall - the back of the wardrobe is the wall itself, no MDF back. Mould builds up inside the shelves inside it during winter months and it's very cold when you open the wardrobe so guessing this is because of condensation. There is one air brick in there. I think what needs to happen is insulate the wall at the back of the wardrobe, cut the shelves at the back so that there is airflow at the back of the wardrobe, check the air brick is working and maybe put in another one and perhaps drill holes in the sides of the shelves to create more airflow? Is there anyone out there who can help?
