Great food???? Not whenever I've tried it!

The lease owners of the Vale were desperate to sell it. But not at any price. They wanted ?600K three years ago - for the lease, not for the freehold. If what I heard today is accurate, it was worth their waiting. JDW is a stale mate for the Vale, even if they revert to the Cherry Tree name, which would be an improvement in itself, that pub is a fantastic site and it could easily have become one of the best pubs in London. The price overvalued the business by at least ?300K and was far too high for any creative outfit to take it on.

What gives the post office the right to dictate these things. Like I could care less what postcode it has. ;-)

Possibly so they can try to make sure people's post is delivered to the right place within a reasonable time?

    • Hi Sue. Thanks! In the end, he was found near Bawdale Rd but he’d only been around there for a few days apparently so I’m not sure where he’d been before then. I wish he could tell us! 😁 Thank you! They definitely put us through it! Yes, he’s had the once over at the vets and he’s grounded for the foreseeable! 😊
    • It’s just been standing here alone while i’m eating my lunch and no owner has seem to come for the past 10-15 mins
