We are looking for a nanny or childminder to look after our two children at home before and after school. We live in Nunhead very close to Peckham Rye Park and ideally we are looking for someone who lives locally and could be flexible about the hours required.

Our children are 8 and 5 and both go to a local primary school.

We require someone (Monday to Friday) from 0800 until 0900 and 1530 until 1730.

It maybe that we require childcare for longer on some days and are really looking for someone who can be flexible.

We need someone to start after Christmas. This is a term-time position only and would finish in July.

Must be experienced nanny and have good spoken English.

If you are interested in this position, please email me your CV.

Thank you.

    • Was meeting a friend for lunch today in ED and thought I’d make a quick visit to the Poundland beforehand as my usual store I visited closed down in Camberwell last year. As soon as I entered was confronted by very loud beat music blaring away (couldn’t wait to get out) and no staff around to serve on the till. The 3 self service tills were all closed so had to wait over 5 minutes to pay. Just hope they can up their game as they have a prime position in ED.
    • Oh no! Poor thing I’d contact Celia Hammond if I were you. I’m out all day tomorrow else I would have come to help. Keep us posted if you can. Thank you.
    • Only way to circumnavigate around TW's attempt at isolating those south of Piermont Green, i'd suggest are making use of the P12 or P13.  Unfortunately no indication as too how long the three different "bursts" will take to be repaired and the obvious inconvenience it causes.
    • To be fair, my understanding (which may well be wrong) is that the whole of the London water system consists of antiquated Victorian pipes, and the whole lot needs replacing. Because of the enormous potential  cost of doing that,  it just gets patched up as and when. The other factor, of course, is that it should never have been privatised.
