We are looking for an after-school nanny for our children ? 14 year old daughter (Year 10) and 11 year old daughter (Year 7). While the girls are no longer ?young? and no longer require full-time ?care?, they (and we!) still appreciate having someone in our home after school, to welcome them home and to be a responsible adult in the house.

The role involves approximately 20 hours during term-time (~3pm to 7pm) and is mostly full-time (9am to 7pm) during school holidays. There may also be the opportunity for additional hours on an ad hoc basis during term time.

We are looking for someone warm & caring with a sense of fun. You must also be responsible, reliable, trustworthy and organised ? e.g. keeping track of the girls? schedules and helping them to be organised.

Your primary responsibilities will include supervising homework, cooking the girls? evening meal, coordinating after-school activities, and being a friend to the girls. You will also be expected to assist with light household duties such as washing / ironing of children?s clothes, tidying children?s areas and bedrooms, child-related admin etc. We have a lovely cleaner so heavier housework not expected.

You must be fluent in English and able to supervise/help with homework. A clean UK driving license is also preferred, but not required. Excellent references and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting our girls as they grow and develop required.

Please respond with your CV if interested. I will reply only to suitable candidates already based in the UK.

Thank you.

    • Nah, the lines are applied hot and cool down quickly so the trucker didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes. The good news is that the owner drove the car away around 5pm without a ticket.
    • East Dulwich Grove is currently closed to a Thames Water leak also, with diversions for the 37 and 42.
    • There is a small tabby cat which seems quite distressed and lost behind the bins outside the back yard of Superdrug at the Lordship Lane end of North Cross Road. It is terrified, running in and out of Superdrug’s back yard and across the road and back again, and looks as if it could be pregnant. It is also starving – a passer was feeding it. We weren’t able to catch it as it was too scared. Did ask the Neighbourhood Vet if anyone has reported a missing cat, but they said not.
