Cookbook for children?

Hello

my son has expressed a desire in learning to cook. A quick look at my books tells me they are a bit too complicated?

Can you recommend a cookbook that you have used for/ with children?

I bought my nephew one of the Roald Dahl revolting recipes cookbooks - I haven't used it myself but I've been told he has enjoyed cooking from it and his mum said there are some good recipes (but also some stupid ones)

I bought this one for my daughter and it seemed like sensible recipes - not all just arranging food into funny shapes. She was 8 and I thought it was probably better for slightly older kids to use themselves or younger ones to work on with parents.

Great book by Nadiya who won British bake off! Called bake me a story - there's lovely short stories related to each recipe! It's a lovely book! Highly recommend x

The Klutz Kids Cookbook: A Very Slightly Messy Manual is great. The instructions are easy to follow and pictorial as well as written. And the recipes are things that my children like to eat as well as cook. It is designed for children to cook with an adult helper, rather than the other way around.

I have bought this book for a few children now, clear instructions with good photos and varied recipes. As an adult it's good to use too!

My 6 year old has Cool Kids Cook by Jenny Chandler. Really well written, real recipes and approachable language.
