According to their blurb, the Art Card gives 50% off Tate exhibitions, so I would check to see what exhibs the Tate has planned for coming 12 months. I know there's a major Hockney retrospective in the new year, which for me would be a deal clincher to get a Tate card...
I subscribe to the Arts Card each year. I do go to quite a few galleries & museums throughout the year and so I probably get the outlay back as exhibitions are either free or half price depending on where you go. Some places give age concessions in addition to the Arts Card concessions so even better value. They use the funds to buy works of art etc so happy that any funds get put to good use.
I started alternating an annual Art Pass with annual Tate Membership but I found the Art Pass brought much greater flexibility, choice and savings that I've now decided to stick with the Art Pass. The only thing I miss is not being able to use the Members Lounge at Tate Modern which has a lovely view over the river, St Paul's and the City of London.

    • That is SO naff!! I never go there but still.... It almost makes me want to turn up dressed like 'Honey G' in full on shell suit look accesorised  with a hard hat and a pair of paint spattered workboots just in order for this to 'sedate' 65year old to tell them they need to get a grip or move to Orpington when they tell me I'm not 'suitably attired' and therefore cannot enter their establishment.
    • I'm looking for a used kitchen drawer unit with 3 or 4 drawers. Can be  50mm or 60cm wide.
    • I’m guessing that “work wear ” doesn’t include suits and “sportswear” doesn’t include Dulwich Hamlet colours. Or rugby shirts.
