Hello, a few of us locals have got together and sorted a fundraiser for the Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network, a local organisation based in Deptford providing vital support and advice for refugees arriving in our borough and surrounding boroughs. Please come and support if you can ? we?ve got loads of local musicians and artists performing, a cake sale, and an excellent raffle. It?s at the Ivy House on November 19th from 1-5pm and Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network will be there too, spreading the word about what they do. Flyer attached.

  The Post Offices and the Royal Mail should be renationalised. Massive mistake privatising industries where competition doesn't work properly and certainly does not offer any advantage to end users.

  The Friends of the Charter School East Dulwich is selling trees to raise funds for the school. I've had one for the last two years and they've been great (lasting well, too). We've had, so far, the budget will be bad, we've inherited a 20 billion black hole, the NHS is broken, and today "Britain isn't working" in relation to jobs and apprenticeships Whilst honesty is a good thing, there are better ways of wording things Negativity drives negativity in situations like this, especially in business and businesses are what labour requires to grow the economy and offer jobs to the unemployed. It does feel like Captain Kier has turned into Private Frazer crying "we're all doomed"
