ednerd Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Tea shop opened today! Looks beautiful, very comfy armchairs and some sweet and helpful young ladies working in there. A lot of the staff were proper French, so hopefully they'll be able to impart that 'je ne sais quoi' the owners seem to be striving for.I had a lovely pot of some sort of posh earl grey tea all to my greedy self and am soon to be tucking into my tarte for dessert, which I took away.Alas, I fear it is soon to be taken over by annoying ED mums, their oversized pushchairs and rowdy kids. Just think it will probably be full of us forumites but none of us will know who we are. Maybe we should have some secret signal. There is no "we are who we are take us or leave us" attitude at allNice food (snack menu) good drinks list and great selection of teas (and coffee!) - It's not like a pub where you would feel comfotable just wandering on on your own but I can see myself going there quite a bitMark - I sooooo wish I was able to pop in for lunch today.
