ryedalema
Morning all - I'm taking our girls (3 and 8 months) to Italy for a few days tomorrow (by myself - OH hiking in Scotland right now!!). Flying luxury Ryan air - so not much room (money) for excess baggage. What's the best way of negotating the airports etc do you think? There's a push chair/hire car/car seats waiting for us at the other end (along with my friend who will hopefully scoop me off the floor and pour alcohol into me!)I was thinking Trunki (just ordered yesterday so really hope it comes in time) for older girl, sling for younger (trying to remember that it has to fit in my backpack when I get on the flight). Do you think that'll work? I've no experience of 'driving' a Trunki so don't know if I'm going to love or curse it.Anyone any thoughts? (Apart from that I need my head read!)xxxx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12900-trunkis/ Share on other sites
ClareC
My nephews have them (aged 2 and 4) and love them. Seem to work for my sister too although I beleive they are not as stable in pull along mode as they could be..... kristymac1
Hello love, M loves hers and they are fab for getting around the airport (although leave a little extra time to negotiate corners!!). They're also really good for keeping all the stuff for the kids on the plane in one place - you can get a suprising amount in them (we manage colouring books and pens, portable dvd, books, couple of small games, stickers).Have a fab time - see you next week xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12900-trunkis/#findComment-354593 Share on other sites
The Nappy Lady
We took one this year & it was great, though at 22 months & 6 our 2 were either side of the ideal age for it. 3 is perfect. If yours doesn't come PM me - you can borrow ours - came off the forum 2nd hand so not precious about it.MollyX Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12900-trunkis/#findComment-354599 Share on other sites
ratty
Hope it does come in time, but they do sell them in Just Williams ya know! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12900-trunkis/#findComment-354717 Share on other sites
Alexis
Aparantly Trunki's are a cm too big for Ryanair's cabin bag allowance. I would check the Trunki dimensions against the Ryanair website to be sure...Good luck! kristymac1
We've done RyanAir with a trunki (what a weird sentence.....!) and had no problems. Famous last words. x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12900-trunkis/#findComment-354921 Share on other sites
