tomskip
There's something going on at the junction of Upland Road and Goodrich Road (by the school). Road cordoned off and lots of police. Perhaps that stretch of Lordship Lane is closed to prevent people from driving down Upland Road? I don't know. Very worrying. Emski
Possibly suspect package, but that's only repeating hearsay. I don't know - I live within the closed Off area but haven't been asked to stay inside. In fact didn't realise road was closed until I tried to pop out to the shop! Police won't say but they're not letting people wander around. Bic Basher
I saw the police cordon off the roads including Court Lane and Friern Road (a 12 driver at the stand was told to leave) as I was on the 176. They mave have reopened LL as when I got off the P13 by the Grove, a 185 came down towards Lewisham. wonderwoman
Does anyone have further information about what happened today. Apparently Friern road was taped off by police and a man was later arrested near Etherow street. Is this the same incident?
