reading some rants on a certain national papers blog pages i got thinking about all the great and good things that have flown over the atlantic to us. according to one blogger us old europeans owe it all to them, so from the hoodie and beyond, what are your fave imports from the states?.. all tongue in cheek of course.

according to wikipedia the online thingy monks were the first to bring the hooded top to the world. however, 'the hoodie' is traced back to the states, but apparently does not carry the same negative image.

i would like to add to the list paris hilton, bless her and all that are driven by her.

just to remind all, please, this is meant to be fun and is not an attack on the states at all in the least/slightest blah blah ...

    • There are so many variables. Good chefs can having bad nights, post-Brexit staff shortages, your dish might be brilliant, your friend might order something that's inedible. In the end I think the best option is just to go to the restaurant which has the best overall reviews. If all the reviews are bad then avoid, but even if all the reviews are good that's not a cast iron gaurantee.
