Hoopoedi
No water near Goodrich Road/Upland Road. Great! Just in time for the morning ablutions! Acc to Thames Water website there is a leak on Barry Road and one on Lordship Lane - assume they have cut off supply to deal with these... spacehopper
there's a burst mains outside a house at the top end of friern which is probably conributing to loss of pressure firther down. uncleglen
Remember- every single new flat has to have it's own mains supply- therefore the water has to be pumped harder, the old mains give way......been happening around here for at least 10 years Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127959-no-watervery-little-water/#findComment-1061905 Share on other sites

Thames Water therefore recommend the following condition be imposed: Development should not be commenced until: Impact studies of the existing water supply infrastructure have been submitted to, and approved in writing by, the local planning authority (in consultation with Thames Water). The studies should determine the magnitude of any new additional capacity required in the system and a suitable connection point.Reason: To ensure that the water supply infrastructure has sufficient capacity to cope with the/this additional demand."This is a process that should happen with every new development ? and the developer should pay.
