Small/Medium size puppies

Does anyone know any good dog breeders in the area who would have litters of small/medium sized dogs for a loving home with kids?

please DO NOT buy from breeders,...why not try any dog rescue,like Battersea dogs home...Jenny

Because I did that already (from Battersea actually) but found out she had a heart disease 8 months later and had to put her down, based on the vet's recommendation . Saddest day of my life. We are now looking for a puppy that can be brought up with kids.

What a sad thing to haverify to go through.

I would still contact the rescues and explain what happened and that you only want a puppy.

Their are also breeders that are responsible and only have one or two litters from their birches. Once you have chosen a breed look on the kennel club website.

That can happen with breeds too. My rescue dog will be thirteen years old next month. You could trynspecific bred rescue centres.

Until the law with regards to breeding dogs is changed and protects these innocent animals even the dogs bred by cruel breeders need to be rescued! My little one came from a bad breeder, was full of cough, had broken leg, had been kept in shed in winter and was on his death bed when I bought him. Now he's the best little chap you could ask for.
