Mick Mac
Staff seem to have discretion as to allow a free coffee to their favourite punter every now and again. I'm on my third free coffee today in about 6 weeks. Today it was from Dominka, my favourite... :) It could be a computer generated random offer, in which case I'd of course be very disappointed. I prefer to think she selected me. Happy Bunny - and this little thought helps the hangover :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127215-pret-a-manger-free-coffee/ Share on other sites

Jules-and-Boo
not random - you are obviously favoured (be cheeky and ask for a croissant)I used to get chocolate croissants and coffee when I worked at MTV (obviously thought I could get them on TV) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127215-pret-a-manger-free-coffee/#findComment-1059776 Share on other sites
JohnL
They give me a free one in Holborn about once a weekBBC claimed they give freebies to young attractive people - I've disproved that :)Edit: I'm pretty sure it's not random Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127215-pret-a-manger-free-coffee/#findComment-1059779 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
Chief Executive Clive Schlee gave staff permission to hand out free drinks to anyone they fancy."They will decide 'I like the person on the bicycle' or 'I like the guy in that tie' or 'I fancy that girl or that boy'," he told the Evening Standard."It means 28 per cent of people have had something free. It?s a nice, different way of doing it." Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127215-pret-a-manger-free-coffee/#findComment-1059784 Share on other sites

nxjen
I've been given about 3 or 4 freebies at Pret over the last year or so, and as I'm neither a regular customer nor young and attractive, I think it's entirely random. Lovely surprise when it's happened though and has made my day! Siduhe
I got a free coffee recently because I mentioned I was buying lunch at 3:40pm. Delivered with a "you deserve this!". Made my day. I am neither young nor attractive. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/127215-pret-a-manger-free-coffee/#findComment-1059884 Share on other sites
