free bike maintenance October 13th evening

Only two more Dr Bikes under Peckham Arch before the winter. This unrepeatable offer must stop at the end of October. Next one October 13th 4.30-7.30pm. Next and final one October 27th. After that it?s too cold for the mechanics hands and also too dark for them to see what they are doing.

Let the Bike Doctor have a look at your bike before the winter sets in. The Doctor will be there indexing gears, sorting out brakes and dispensing wise advice. And with him will be his able assistants also working away on bikes with various side-kicks dispensing maps, gossip and goodwill.

Find them under Peckham Arch (at the south end of Surrey Canal Path) from 5.30-7.30pm. Free, everyone welcome.

  This was posted last Saturday by Jb. "No the collections were separate, although both funds transferred to his brother, Asif. You could pop in and speak to his brother if you wanted more details but I believe they plan to fund a well in Africa. Thanks if you donated, the brothers were very grateful and touched."

  it would seem very likely that they are trying it on if it their area - ie not a responsibility of the freehold. The freehold would cover the building structure (walls, foundation, roof) - possibly freeholder would have responsibility for the front door - if so, does the freeholder have the windows? Usually grey area in a lease so you could look at past instances - who has paid for window replacement, front door to be painted etc?

  Thanks for these comments. Very helpful. The porch and hallway shows on their lease plan but we share the freehold together.

  Ok. You have bigger problems than this s20 notice. How have you let one freeholder dominate things. You both have the equal right to decide how to manage the communal areas of the property. I would get some legal advice on your duties and rights as a freeholder and then request a meeting to reset the relationship. Also as noted in other posts is the front yard and door actually the responsibility of the freeholder. These are all questions you should ask in your S20 response.
