womanofdulwich
On closer examination I find the inside of my teenage sons water bottles are pretty grubby-especially around the lids - the ones with the spouts you pull out? I have tried cotton buds and a brush but still some dark spots of something. We have loads of these comng into the hosue- and lose a lot too. ANyone got any handy hints to really clean them. (Of coure if they did not leave them half full with sports drinks in them for 2 months and hide them under theri beds it would help). edanna
Do you have a dishwasher? Also are they the kind that you are supposed to reuse. The ones you get mineral water in are not designed for repeated use so there could be an issue with transference of small amounts of plastic into the drink - I'm not an expert on this though.
