mamasmurf
Hi allI'm wondering how soon to register for nurseries as a friend of mine said she'd registered her son when she was 12 weeks pregnant. Is that really necessary? I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and have started to look at childminders/nurseries in East Dulwich. In particular I would like to raise my child bilingual German/English which I speak. I've seen a couple of Kindergarten's in the area but ideally would like a bilingual childminder when baby is 1 and I return to work. Has anyone come across any German/English childminders in the area? Thanks for any assistance. Passiflora
Yes, the Kindergardens in the area don't take children until they are a bit older but it's good you are asking around. There are some German/English speaking childminders around but I would say you need to lower your expectations of their fluency.
