Hi there

I have 9 weeks until i give birth, and have been looking around for baby clothes, furniture, toys etc.

But i cannot help but notice that the majority of websites around specifically for babies seem a bit twee and not very exciting.

I am a Art-director/Graphic designer and just because i am having a baby i don't want to stop having 'style' (don't mean to sound wanky or pretenious) You can look at my work here to see what kind of work i do, www.check-me-out.co.uk

My fave website for babies that i have come across is

http://www.nordickids.co.uk

They seem to have some great brands on there.

I bet there are plenty of mums out there that feel the same as me.

I know there are as i see so many trendy mums around East Dulwich ;)

I would really appreciate any links that you think are 'cool' baby sites.

Thank you so much for reading this, and hope you really don't think i am being stuck up!!

Crikey ?34 for a body suit for a 6month old - certainly don't think you're being stuck up but I do fear that you'll spend a great deal of time worrying about having to change baby for the 4th time that day (poo leakage/milk vomits/general spit...) into another hideously expensive babygro.....

I bought my little one some very cool (and expensive but not that expensive) items of clothes and she ended up hardly ever wearing them - much more bumper packs of babygros from mothercare sadly.

Good luck with the remaining weeks of your pregnancy x

i agree with Ruth, H&M is great, definitely the coolest place for boys in particular IMO and much more reasonably priced.

Sparkle & Spin on Melbourne Grove carry a load of the nordic type brands with bold prints etc, but they're pricey and definitely not for the everyday.

Hello ladies.

Thanks for your replies.

I much appreciate them.

I totally understand what you are saying about price etc. As I am a massive Primark fan and have already got a load of Asda baby grows, but what I think I forgot to mention in my post was that I am looking for an array of baby sites and not just from a purchasing point of view but from a design reference point of view.

Who said cheap baby grows could not look good, afterall it's not what you wear but how you wear it ;)
