Phoenix in Crystal Palace is a good school.

Before I went to them, I did a cheap CBT with another school on a Groupon deal. The ?50 saving wasn't worth the reduction in quality IMO. So, please think about whether life-saving training is something you should really be doing on the cheap.

CBT doesn't exactly make you very safe, and presumably you've already done it once. If you're thinking about driving lessons or riding training, seriously think about the proper road training rather than the bare minimum to let you wobble round on L-plates for another 2 years. It's not exactly cheap but it is good value - you can sometimes arrange payment in instalments if it helps.

    • Apart from being yet another eyesore in our lovely park the track is going to be 5 metres wide, that’s wider than my living room! By the time this is installed it will be too late for people to object. This must be rethought, even more of our park is being given over to GALA. The council didn’t factor in HGV access when they planned the flood alleviation works and now they expect park goers to suffer further. Complaints might help, worth a try but needs to be before the consultation ends on Feb 10th
    • It is absolutely real, I walked past the site, complete with car and trashed wall, at about 2pm this afternoon.
    • Oh ok, I'm even more confused now then. Have you seen the discussion on the dangerous driving thread?
    • Sue - I promise you that was no fake photo, not sure that I'm even capable to that.  I took the picture about 12:15 today.
