Vik
On the crossing at the bottom of DKH. I'm thinking something to do with the trams, it has an electric switch on it. Thanks!https://goo.gl/photos/h5TyEKA2Uezrnq2u6 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/126739-what-iswas-this/ Share on other sites
Robert Poste's Child
If no one knows the answer, perhaps you could send it in to Robert Elms's Radio London show on Wed for the notes and queries bit? rendelharris
Never noticed it before in twenty years! Intriguing...it could be to do with the trams but I think the central reservations were only put in after the trams stopped running, so it would be odd to leave it there. edhistory
No dual carriage-way refuge until at least 1954 when the tram tracks were removed. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/126739-what-iswas-this/#findComment-1058243 Share on other sites
