ClareC
Hi all, Am wanting to buy a second buggy to keep in the boot of the car / take on holiday / occasional use on public transport.I am after a buggy that folds easily and quite small, reclines (so that my daughter could snooze in it whilst out) and doesn't have wide wheels so could be used on the buses occasionally. Doesn't need to lie flat as she is now 6 months.I fancied the Microlite superlite but having looked at one in Soup Dragon today although they are light and fold quite small, the front wheels are wide so would cause difficulty using public transport.Any suggestions? Dulwich Born And Bred
Maclaren, they are extremely popular for a reason, reclines, fold one hand, great for public transport etc. Is the boot of your car an issue sizewise? ClareC
I have a large boot, however, I also have two dogs (hence the large boot). Ideally looking for something that folds quite compact so the dogs still have plenty of space when we travel dogs and buggy :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12626-recommendations-wanted-holiday-buggy-boot-of-car-buggy/#findComment-348955 Share on other sites

Dulwich Born And Bred
The quinny zap is supposed to be compact, my sister had one, but I dont really like three wheelers. ladywotlunches
I've got a Zapp, which does fold very small and is great for the car. But it doesn't recline at all, which for my 1st always resulted in my wheeling around for 20 minutes on the back wheels only!I'm looking at the OBaby Atlas (I think) for number 2 - its a bit like a maclaren, reclines fully, but about ?60 instead of ?150. Nice patterns too ;). Kiddicare have a good range of colours - or Mothercare/JL if you want to check one out in the flesh. crystal7
We have a Maclaren Quest as a 2nd buggy. Very handy for public transport, holidays and going into town. Seems hardwearing and sturdy. Reclines for naps.
