I took my baby daughter to the baby massage classes at the therapy rooms (above the health matters shop) on lordship lane.

It was lovely and intimate. My daughter who was about the same age at the time really enjoyed it, aswell as myself. It has a lovely bonding feel to it, and everytime we left she fell asleep instantly ( which was a nice time to grab a coffee). The lady that runs it is such a nice woman ( have forgotten her name), but she is also a trained midwife and offers helpful advice and tips. Highly recommend!

I took my baby to the free Sure Start baby massage at the Children's Centre in Asylum Rd. It was friendly and she enjoyed it although rather liked wriggling around to look at other babies whenever possible. The room could get very full, but I didn't ever see anyone turned away. The description from last term is below, a lot of the sessions stay at the same time/day each term so may still be the same when restarts in September. They do the massage part of the session then have a break where you can have a drink and fruit, then someone interesting comes in and does a short presentation. Last year they included a talk on oral health (including free baby beaker), a demonstration of real nappies (given by Molly who posts here I think).

Sophie Brigstocke is amazing - Her massage techniques transformed my baby from a constipated grizzler into a calm, relaxed and happy pooer. She runs courses or if you have friends/antenatal group she can run private classes in your home. http://www.sophiebrigstocke.com/

The course runs for four weeks and I'm hoping to kick this off at the beginning of October. • Hi, Self explanatory anyone help or point me in  right direction please.   Thanks
    • Cheques are still the safest way to send money to others if you want to make a 'thing' of it. At Christmas or birthdays a card with a cheque is the most effective present to distant god children or extended family, for instance when you don't know what they have or need - made out to the parent if you don't think they have an account yet. Of course you can use electronic transfer, often, to parents if you set it up, but that doesn't quite have the impact of a cheque in the post. So a cheque still has a use, I believe, even when you have very much reduced your cheque writing for other purposes.
    • I believe "Dulwich" is deemed where Dulwich library is situated so left at Peckham rye and straight up Barry Road
    • The solution for the cost of duvet washing is for each person to have their own single duvet like in Scandinavia.  Then you can wash the duvet in your own washing machine. Get a heated drying rack if you don’t have a tumble dryer.
