Think you made a good choice F. I on the other hand stayed in during the morning and then headed up to the Horniman for their play afternoon - and walked straight into a sharp shower. Meant that the Horniman events, whilst good were a bit damp. And it was tube train packed!

There were little ones who came along with their big siblings and we mostly meandered round the garden and collected stones etc while the big ones did the session.. but the staff were Ok with the little ones joining in with the art and we did wander over to the pond and see the stuff they'd dipped. So i think you could come just with a little one and enjoy the garden (free/donations) the playscheme thing is for over 5s I think
