"oh great, another burger retailer. Just what the area needs as there is currently nothing like that. Nor is there a cheese shop. Unless you count the cheese shop and the cheese stalls on the market."

What LL needs is some estate agents, chicken shops, and nail bars

Another burger place?! That's disappointing

@teddyboy - le chandelier was a tea room. Did a good selection of different teas, but just closed.

Shame about Mrs Robinson boutique.. There aren't enough clothes shops on the lane.

That end of the lane is becoming a bit of a foodie cluster now though, so cheese shop could do Ok potentially.

I'm not so sad to see change, La Chardon was pretty poor. But it would have been nice to see something a bit more grown up there. It's a lovely building and Byron will take advantage of that, but there's some competition in the 'meat in a bun' market now, GBK now being the dullest of the offers on LSL

And a new cheese monger, how nice, I hope he/she smiles some. But i'm glad to see the good old guard still delivering quality, as last nite we ate a very good meal at Franklins. I've eaten there for at least the last 15 years, its good to see a neighborhood restaurant that can keep doing what it does, and doing it well.

Red leg partridge anyone?

    • I want to recommend Simon and his team at Smile Moves. They moved us last week and did a fantastic job packing our entire house up, and moving all our belongings without anything breaking. They were on time, polite and went the extra mile at the other end to ensure everything was in the right rooms. A great experience during a stressful period!
    • Happy to collect at anytime that suits you!
    • Yes, presumably, in terms of using some of the space for non Post Office things, as other sub post offices do. But as a sub office I doubt that they will be able to cherry pick what Post Office services they offer. My understanding is that there are only a few things which Crown offices presently do but sub offices don't (like passports).
    • I bought mine online couple of years ago from arnold Clark. They had send me few videos and I think you have at least 1 year warranty. It was serviced by them as well for few years . When I went for service here the mechanic told me that the car is in a great shape with lots new parts and a very good buy.  It was a very strange experience as it was brought from Scotland and it was click and collect type of purchase. Never had I thought I would be buying a second hand car like that. You pay small holding fee I think I paid something like 50-100£ for transport to London and you have few locations to choose from.
