Is it true that SUDOCREM helps get rid of dark circles?

Yes unfortunately it is true. Don't go there though - it's way too harsh.

Anusol is for eye bags, not undereye circles. That's why the flesh shrinking works.

Dark circles has been linked to a lack of vitamin K, and also a lack of fat in that particular area of the face (I believe there is some kind of cosmetic surgery you can have to have fat put in there).

There's also some kind of ludicrously expensive cream that's about ?100 that I think has been shown to work. Most don't - concealer is your friend.

Oh just a rumour then? I wont try the piles cream. Its the dark circles I need to get rid of, would like to be au naturale!

As Rosie says, concealer is your friend. Go for something light-reflecting and don't be heavy handed with it - that just makes it worse. Don't put powder directly underneath your eyes either - that makes it worse too. Good luck.

Quite so - however I would caveat that smeary mascara under your eyes will only add to the just-risen-from-the-dead effect. It's quite a luxury, but Laura Mercier does do a ridiculously light light-reflecting powder specifically for the under-eye area.

But Rosie, panda eyes are the new trend, didn't you know? Where I work, this is the norm. Forget eye cream, dark circles are in fashion so wear them with pride.

You're right Rosie, heat may well be the cause of an increasing number of sooty eyes.
