Would you like to contribute to scientific research?

I'm a local to East Dulwich and a PhD student at King's College London, and have just begun an online survey study as part of my research that aims to better understand the impact of mind wandering and the extent to which it affects peoples? lives. Anyone over the age of 16 years can complete it, and it takes around 10 - 15 minutes.

We would like to invite you to complete an online survey investigating if mind wandering can lead to differences in our experiences of education, occupation, and creativity. Everyone?s mind wanders, but we all do it to a different degree, so what is its impact? For some it may be useful and lead to creativity or working in a certain profession. For others it may have a negative effect, perhaps making it difficult to learn at school. Severe mind wandering that just won?t seem to stop and feels uncontrollable could also be associated with disorders such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). By exploring the relationship between these things we can better understand the impact of mind wandering and the extent to which it affects peoples? lives.
