Offered for sale is my much loved Canon DSLR kit as follows. All treated with love and care over the last few years and offering an amazing start for someone getting into photography and looking to cover all the basics in one go. I have very carefully chosen this set of lenses over the last few years; they all offer amazing sharpness, functionality and value.

So, what?s in the bag?

Canon 7D camera body (low use, less than 10k shots taken, typical lifespan of 100k+)

Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM (wide to ultra-wide lens for amazing architecture, group shots or landscapes)

Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM ?Art? (my favourite all round lens, super for events, street photography, and people in context, amazing low light / night performance without flash due to huge 1.4 aperture)

Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM (amazing lens for portraits, same low light abilities as above)

Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM (note the L designating one of Canon?s pro-grade lenses, this is an amazing long zoom lens which will do anything from longer-range portraits to picking birds out of trees on safari)

Hoya Pro1 Digital UV filters fitted on all the above lenses

Original manufacturer?s lens hoods for all the above lenses

2x original Canon 7D batteries

Canon RC-6 remote control

32GB memory card, card reader, battery charger, cables, etc

ThinkTank StreetWalker camera backpack

Asking price is ?1,850 or nearest sensible offer as a complete kit bag (I?m not splitting). Original retail value of all this is well in excess of ?3k, and even the lenses on their own would still set you back about ?2k now. Happy to demo for serious enquiries.

Thanks for looking!

    • We got a delivery today in the Gardens. It's only the second bit of post we've seen in five working days. My postman told me the the local MP had visited their office this week to find out what was going on. Hopefully the visit will give them a kick up the backside if they're were being slack.
    • We've just had Daniel at My Home Solutions completely renovate our downstairs bathroom (including moving the toilet and sink) and install some bespoke understairs cupboards. From start to finish he did a great job, very easy to work with- full of good suggestions and advice. Price was fair, and the quality of work was excellent- very nice guy to have around the house too (which matters to me if they will be there for a few weeks). will definitely be using him again for a bigger project lined up.
    • Very interesting article in the Guardian today: '‘Palestinians are taking the stand’: can legal challenges to Israel’s war in Gaza stop the continuing onslaught?' https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/oct/04/israel-gaza-war-international-law
    • It's a good job they are replacing your blue box with a bin Bob, we all know a Citroen won't fit into a blue box for recycling (unless it's a 2cv )
