edanna
Hi, I didn't realise that the one o'clock club takes donations of toys etc. So I thought I'd post on here. They are especially interested in outdoor toys. Some of those trikes they have cost several hundred pounds and some have been nicked and the club can't afford to replace them. Of course things also get worn out with so much use. So if you have any ride-ons etc cluttering up your shed they would be gratefully received. Also they could do with a Moses basket for indoors. The club is brilliant - we're so lucky to have it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12401-peckham-rye-1-oclock-club-donations/ Share on other sites
Belle
also - think they're keen on getting more playsand as it gets spilled out of the sandtable a lot, and I noticed that mothercare had it reduced last time I was in - will pick some up next time I'm in - am sure they'd appreciate more as they're planning a beach party in August. The council was meant to give them loads but only gave them a couple of bags in the end I think. Jamma
Been talking to the folks down there recently and I've been shocked at the amount of stuff that gets nicked. Maybe I was just being a bit wet but I really can't believe people would steal from a playgroup! edanna
I spoke to her, Carol, on Thursday, hence the thread. Unfortunately I don't have anything suitable to donate just yet.
