Robert Poste's Child
Think the OP's referring to Kate Ford, actress and woman of this parish, being reprimanded a couple of days ago for tweeting a picture of the schoolrun gridlock from her car, from the look of it up near the South Circ end of the village. There's been a lot of news coverage this week about the huge numbers of people who still phone, text or check emails while driving. Yesterday I ended up shouting at several myself, particularly the driver of a huge Boots lorry who was looking at his phone in traffic by Lambeth Bridge as I had to cycle across in front of him and it was clear he wasn't looking despite revving his engine. Mick Mac
It seems her son is called "Otis"I'm wondering if that is continuing the Beckham trend of naming your children after where they were conceived. Robert Poste's Child
Is that in a van or in Morrison's? Or both? The mind boggles. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/123252-naughty-tracey/#findComment-1048099 Share on other sites

Robert Poste's Child
One of Victoria Wood's characters points out that it can take several days for the sperm to fertilise the egg, so you could think you conceived after a romantic dinner on a Thursday but the moment might actually be while waiting for the checkout at B&Q on Sunday morning. Robert Poste's Child
Though, as she said, you'd need a bigger aisle for that. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/123252-naughty-tracey/#findComment-1048502 Share on other sites
maxxi
Is this why there are so many singles in the 'self checkout' queue? Indeed is 'self-checkout' the new D.I.Y?
