Acrylic on canvas painting in which I picked up in my travels through the West Indies in 1999. This was from Antigua. A painting based on the famous Haitian artist Laurent Casimir. On my return had it professionally framed at Herne Hill Framers.

Size 91cm x 62cm

Sadly it no longer fits in with the new remodelling, and I'm sure this will brighten up anyones day as it has for me for many a year.

The photos don't do it justice, viewing welcome

Bought on my first trip to Australia about 15 years ago from an Aboriginal owned store in Queensland, makes a sweet sound, I can give a demo. Has new beeswax mouthpiece, you heat up with hairdryer and mould it to your own mouth.

Just like the guitar, does not fit in with new decor plus I can't do the circular breathing anymore because of nasal op.

Had some good times with this, but like everything it has to go. Sad to see it go

It's quite heavy, VGC, 52 inches in length

    • I don't mind getting the ball rolling, but there would have to be more organisers than just me 🤣 I've got more than enough to do already. Also as I often don't recognise faces or remember names, I wouldn't be an ideal person (though in the old days, we had labels with our forum names on, if memory serves)  Sorry admin, I've gone well off topic.
    • There was a brief discussion on the Lounge about the good old days of the Forum and the drinks where people with differing views seemed to get on fine with each other.  Can't find it or I would give you the link @Earl Aelfheah or @Sephiroth I think one of you had said something along these lines.  Yes go for it Sue!
