If you are considering to hire someone and let them into your home (a potential stranger) you will naturally look out for signs to see if they're genuine or not. An attached pdf to 'My safe guide' is a guide that will prepare you for the right kind of signs that something is quite not right. Please download and share with others

Hi Sean,

It might be considered "common sense" but not everyone has been taught exactly what to look out for. I have visited a customer recently who has been conned by builders/decorators who came from a reputable website and she didn't know what exactly to look out for and unfortunately there are people who still go through bad experiences and I'll do what I can to help others to prevent that.

Thank you for your comment Sean

    • Apart from being yet another eyesore in our lovely park the track is going to be 5 metres wide, that’s wider than my living room! By the time this is installed it will be too late for people to object. This must be rethought, even more of our park is being given over to GALA. The council didn’t factor in HGV access when they planned the flood alleviation works and now they expect park goers to suffer further. Complaints might help, worth a try but needs to be before the consultation ends on Feb 10th
    • It is absolutely real, I walked past the site, complete with car and trashed wall, at about 2pm this afternoon.
    • Oh ok, I'm even more confused now then. Have you seen the discussion on the dangerous driving thread?
    • Sue - I promise you that was no fake photo, not sure that I'm even capable to that.  I took the picture about 12:15 today.
