ants30
I have a neighbour whose trees have overgrown both outwards and upwards to the point where I do not have any light in my garden I have contacted Southwark who have basically fobbed me off but the house is council owned And the occupants are not that social and do not even use the garden I am tempted to hire a chain saw and just go and chop them down but knowing my luck I would end up with armed police arriving :):) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/122625-high-trees/ Share on other sites
Sue
Have you spoken to the neighbours? If they don't use the garden they might be quite happy for you to pay to have someone chop off the offending branches or even chop down the whole tree ......What did Southwark actually say when you approached them? If you have something in writing that would cover you if the tree was chopped down it might be useful .....
