Hey I didn't know there was a roof terrace. I could have done with knowing that last Sunday. Maybe a forum drink whilst it's still warm?

Rusler - shameful - you're rumbled - report to the stocks. We should invest in some stocks and put them on Goose Green. Brilliant idea I think. Is it legal?

I don't want to cause mischief, but is it just me or would anyone else like to see this quote just dropped, out of context into the Anglican schism debate?

Well, when I say I don't want to cause mischief...let's just see where it goes.

For a thread titled 'The Bishop roof terrace'

not much here about the Roof Terrace.

Have seen pics. and looks very nice.

Have not yet ventured up the Spiral Staircase. It's the coming back down that worrys me. :)

I am quite content to sit out front watching East Dulwich (If not the World) go by.

Counting the cars that ignore the signs and turn right from East Dulwich Road.

Very good sun trap. Can get very hot out there.

Not the only place I've quoted it but thank you for noticing. To be honest it's become a bit of a catchphrase at ruffers towers.

As well it should be, and shall be in future round at HonaloochieB Heights.

I consider you quite the pioneer Ruffers, and if this phrase isn't common parlance in the SE22 postcode come August Bank Holiday, then, well bless me, I don't know what!!

    • There are at least five different types of magnesium. What type did your GP tell you to buy?  The glycinate version is most often used for sleep problems in case that is the type you are looking for.
    • That looks spectacular! I would be reluctant to share that if i was lucky enough to live there!
    • Is there any way of soundproofing a single glazed sash window? Would  polythene sheeting work? If I replaced the window, I would have triple glazing, but it's a small room used as an office  which I'm not in all that often, so  I really don't want to go to that expense.
    • You must have been very unlucky, they are usually very helpful. Didn't your GP advise you on what strength to get? Any issues with delivery from online orders pale into insignificance when compared with the advantages of not having to trek from shop to shop comparing availability and prices of what you want, and then having to find someone in each place who can tell you about it, and then hoping that they have given you the correct information! And then having to lug it all home, if it is heavy stuff. Assuming you were lucky enough to find what you wanted in the first place. Been there, done that for decades,  don't want to do it any more thanks  😀
