Lordship Lane Post Office closed 2 days in a row

Closed when I went along yesterday afternoon. Apologetic staff member on the door explaining this was due to a faulty computer system. Same thing today. May be closed tomorrow too according to staff who were answering questions, but no tills were in operation.

I have a stack of parcels. Where is the nearest alternative, I wonder?

Dulwich Village Post Office or the sub PO on Forest Hill Road.

Or take them to Londis almost opposite which (I think) does MyHermes. Used to anyway.

Sadly Dulwich Village Post Office has been closed for quite a while. There's a nice pop up gallery there right now! Worth a visit

There is still a post office in Dulwich Village it's based in the chemists near Biff

And now much efficient, too. No more queues like there's rationing still going on.

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone happens to pass the Lordship Lane P.O. tomorrow morning, an update would be great. Intend to head there again on foot before trying other possibilities.

The sub post office on the Forest Hill Rd is very good, when I use to live on Woodvale I would use it a lot, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and you could always read the magazines while you are queuing. :)
