External decorations probably with some pointing and stonework repairs

Can anyone recommend a company or builder who can carry out external decorations to our house - the work includes repainting two wooden doors and frames, the stone work around 7 upvc windows frames, and the stone work and remains of wooden windows frames to 3 windows (including a bay window) that still have aluminum window frames. There are lots of cracks to the window cills and there may be some repointing needed too. There is one 2nd floor room so scaffolding may be needed. I really want one company/contractor to do the whole job. Can you recommend someone you have used? Or recommend yourself, as long as you can provide references. Thanks.

    • I've used Leon a couple of times already for a couple of minor issues (and about to call him for a third!) and he's been super reliable and reasonable as well. Highly recommend!
    • FWIW, concern at the growing number of bikes and powerful e-bikes, consistently exceeding 20mph, while riding on pavements as well as jumping red lights- even at busy junctions, is also very much about safety and concerns about this and about dangerous driving in cars and larger vehicles should not be mutually exclusive. If you view the roads as already dangerous, do you also want to see pavements and crossings at red lights made even more dangerous by turning a blind eye to reckless cycling behaviour? Should this thread be in the traffic section?

    • 20 mph zone. 2 tonne car. Absolutely standard road violence - add it to the weekly railings being mangled on the South Circular. The only reason it is remarkable is because they managed to plant it on top of the wall. Oddly, there are some that remain preoccupied by kids on bikes on pavements and some cyclist that didn't stop at a red light as being what's really dangerous around here. I think they are probably motivated by factors other than road safety when banging that drum.
