LITTLE DISCO - fun daytime family discos - UV/GLOW theme - Sun 16th Oct @ the EDT

Recommended Posts

Little Disco is back on Sunday 16th October with a Little Disco in East Dulwich at our residency The EDT. A fun daytime disco for families with under 9s. It will be our first GLOW in the Dark disco, with UV lights and NEON decorations. Get you and your little ones dressed up in white or NEON colours and get transformed into a light sensation! The UV lights will be on for both discos!

Go crazy swirling and twirling your little ones around the dance floor and show them how you get down to the latest tunes and those retro disco classics that you love to dance to. Our lively DJ will get you bopping away, playing dance floor fillers and kids' favourites and there will be other boredom busting activities such as bubbles, games and competitions, prizes, air guitars, indoor fireworks and a free disco accessory for every child. There will even be some snow! There are child friendly drinks and snacks available to buy to complete this fun packed afternoon. Why not invite some friends along in our boogie-wonderland?

If you're a bit rusty and need a little warm-up before you really show the kids how it's done then the bar will provide you with a little help. Have a drink and socialise with the other big kids while you watch the little kids go crazy on the dancefloor from a safe distance.

Facilities include a quiet corner with tunnels and tents for a little time out, nappy changing facilities, a buggy park and a baby cosy corner in the disco itself. Doors (and bar!) open 15 minutes prior to advertised start time.

We also organise Disco Birthday / Glow in the Dark discos and school discos in South East London. Please get in touch via e-mail [email protected] or find out more on our website.

Both our 1pm and 3.30pm disco we have a really cool theme: UV / NEON!

Get the kids dressed up in NEON or anything white, and they will glow in the dark!

But don't worry, it won't be too dark for little ones!

    • It's great that the council will do this, but it does seem a costly waste of their scarce resources, unless there are factors which I don't know about? Surely rather than dealing with a few piles of dog poo on request on an as and when basis they need to find some way of addressing the whole problem? What do other boroughs/countries do? Have things got worse since COVID, when the dog population seems to have quadrupled round here? Did some people acquire dogs without thinking through the less cuddly aspects of ownership? Could dogs be trained to use a litter tray and/or bury their own poo, like cats do? 🤣 (That was a joke, btw).

    • They could refund tix already bought though, couldn't they? We did this recently when we had to reschedule a gig due to the headliner's serious illness. That was a bit different because people had the option to transfer their tix to the new date when confirmed. But in  theory everybody could have got a refund, though in practice only a few people took that option up.
