KateW
Does anyone use a Summer baby monitor? If so, has it been worth the money and what would you say were the advantages of the screen compared to a regular sound-only monitor? Thanks in advance, Kate Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12113-advice-on-baby-monitors/ Share on other sites
alibo
I have one and used it since birth. I think it cost ?110 and I would say that you could probably spend less because the screen is not absolutely necessary but I have spent many happy hours staring at my baby asleep whilst in the room next to him. I live in a flat so even less reason to have one! It does give you a lot of comfort in the early days when you are worried about them all of the time, but more seasoned mums would probably say it is not necessary. Buy one if you can afford it cos it is really lovely watching them and it is additional comfort, oh yes it also has a thermometer as well. You can always sell it later on this forum which I do with most of my stuff, baby stuff usually sells for about a third of the cost.
