Ant
Wonder how well something like that would work in ED... Always seems to me there are plenty of part-time/WFH type parents around here. Belle
I love the idea of pay as you go childcare - am about to start doing a bit of freelance after being off work since my son was born 17 mths ago so this kind of thing wd be so useful. i might contact them and suggest ED as a poss additional location! The Nappy Lady
Saw this on TV news about a week ago and thought it was a great idea, but for me it is too expensive....guess it depends what your potential days earnings are, plus because I work school hours my days are short.Lovely idea though.Molly Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12110-interesting-childcarework-concept/#findComment-338670 Share on other sites
Belle
yup, def expensive. I guess though, you do get all the office stuff - but then I'm already paying for broadband, phonebill etc at home. I think it also sounds like a good thing for when you have a childcare glitch - ie might mean you make no profit in the short term but if it helps you finish a project or whatever cd be a good solution. new mother
Excellent idea - the more childcare options there are, the better. Could be useful for those who work at home and have only the occasional meeting, part timers, emergency situations as Belle says.
