KidKruger
Only definite place I can think of is Stanfords, Covent Garden. You can call and check they stock what you need. Not local but one of best map shops in UK. ????
if you're going by car you I think that you can normally still pick up local ones in popular areas in Motorway Service Stations near the locations Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/121051-ordnance-survey-maps-where-to-buy-locally/#findComment-1041609 Share on other sites
ed_pete
At a pinch you can subscribe for one month (about ?4 I think) and download then from the OS site to your phone or tablet so that you don't need a signal when out and about (just plenty of battery). I understand that this is not necessarily recommended - depending on where you're going - and that you should always carry a paper version. Dulwich Library have the Dark Peak one available (just checked their online catalogue) which covers the northern half. They don't have the White Peak southern half. I may have one of these you could borrow - need to check later. cactus
Thanks for your replies.I ended up downloading one, but then the organisers of the trek that we were doing supplied a route guide thatwas more than adequate. So all good in the end, despite walking 25k in yesterday's downpour! Jenny1
For future reference the last time I needed an OS map I found it in Chener Books. They won't have the range that Stanford's have, naturally, but it's worth a look.
