Annasfield
What's the difference between Spurs and a triangle? A triangle has 3 points. SimonM
AlsoWhy are Spurs like a triangle? bon3yard
I've become wedded to humiliation as a Spurs Fan, it doesnt help that certain Bigmouths in the press talk us up as breaking into the Top 5 at the begining of each season. Its like Peles kiss of death...I'm sure he once tipped Colombia to win the World Cup. :-S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/157/#findComment-139290 Share on other sites
ruffers
The thing was a signficant proportion of Spurs fans believed it every year.... including Levy it would appear. Annasfield
I honestly believed that last season Spurs might do it. bon3yard
The trouble is this particular giant has been asleep for so long that its forgotten how to get out of bed without stubbing its toe on the dressing table and knocking itself out on the Grass Ceiling. Never before have I enjoyed International breaks quite so much. Annasfield
Another royal cock up from UEFA. Have several friends with flights booked to Madrid who thanks to this decision don't know their arse from their elbow. This timing is absolutely ridiculous. Was offered a ticket yesterday and very nearly booked my flights. Don't know what stopped me.Edit: There, their, they're.... Shocking. Keef
I agree with their decision in principle, but their timing is, as you say, a joke! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/157/#findComment-139726 Share on other sites
Annasfield
Agree wholeheartedly with the decision. This sort of thing needs to happen more often, but moving a European game 8 days before it is played, is a joke. They've not even confirmed the alternative yet. VERY bad. Rhinestone Cowboy
EVENING STANDARD - London: Seven-year-old boy was at the centre of a London courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club whom the boy firmly believes are incapable of beating anyone Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/157/#findComment-139781 Share on other sites
