Part time nanny and share family wanted Nov 2016

Recommended Posts

We are a family living in Crofton Park looking for a live-out nanny to take sole charge of our baby son, who will be aged 13 months, on a part-time basis from November 2016. The nanny will be required to work 2.5 or 3 days a week and be willing to be part of a nanny share (if not already) with another family in the locality (yet to be identified). There is some flexibility as to the exact hours / working pattern of days at this time. For the first month the nanny will only be needed for 2 days a week. From January the full hours will be available.

The nanny needs to be Ofsted registered or willing to become registered for the purpose of childcare vouchers.

We are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys children and is thoughtful and sensitive about how a child sees and experiences their world. We are looking for a patient, creative, responsible and caring individual with experience with the age-group, but who can also work flexibly to fit in with the individual needs of the child in their care. The nanny must be able to provide a warm and safe relationship for children, to have a sense of fun and enjoy the outdoors. We would like our child to be taken to activities where he can socialise with other children. Being able to prepare healthy food is important.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in the position or if you are a family looking for a Nannyshare.

    • I have someone from Which Tech phoning on Monday afternoon. I couldn't get an earlier appointment. I am hoping that now there is a visible display, they will be able to get me online and then  remotely control the laptop and identify what went wrong and whether it is an ongoing fault or, if not, whether it is likely to recur. If they can't, or if they identify a hardware fault,  I will have to grit my teeth and let John Lewis's third party "repair" company take it away and deal with it 😭 I'm very grateful for your advice, but when I saw "Windows will restart automatically" my immediate reaction was to think "but suppose it doesn't" and "suppose the screen goes black again" which I know is very negative but I'd rather someone else was there when I did it, albeit on the end of the phone! Meanwhile, every cloud etc, as I have installed Word on my phone, which I didn't know was possible, and I have been editing and printing documents from there.  I haven't investigated whether I can do the same with Excel, but I will see what happens on Monday.
