Keef
Can anyone recommend any good sunglasses for a 1 year old. She is terrible for keeping hats on, and doesn't much like uncream on her face, so we'll be needing a pair that wrap around, to stand any chance of them staying on. dulwichmum
Darling Keef,I have been buying sunnies for kids for years, from everywhere - John Lewis, Biff, the supermarket, acutely aware of the damage that the sun can do to children's eyes. We just discovered the best sunglasses for kids ever - they are Polaroid! My kids love wearing them and they tell me that there is a huge difference in these and all the ones they had before. I was recently asked to review Polaroids myself, and I wasn't keen because I perceived them to be really outdated, but they are actually the best sunglasses I have ever owned - and really stylish too.http://www.polaroidsunglasses.co.uk/sunglasses/kids/index.htmThey are anti-glare and block out all of the harmful UV rays. Keef
Thanks DM (Lovely to hear from y by the way). They lok nice, I just wonder if they'd stay on. Guess I could get one of those strings you can attach to the arms. Moos
Baby banz do ones that have a band instead of arms that goes around kids' faces. Worked on our one year old - aged 3 he has now progressed to Toy Story sunglasses and thinks he is incredibly cool.We have an old pair of baby banz you could borrow to see whether you like it? bumpy
Hey dulwichmum, if you ever need someone else to 'review' anything then I'm sure I could be of help. Especially those of the restaurants, handbags & heels variety..! :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/11999-good-eye-protection-in-the-sun/#findComment-336326 Share on other sites
ryedalema
?12 Keef - probably a bit overpriced but worth it I reckon (our little one travels backwards in the car and gets full on sun sometimes). snowboarder
baby snowboarder practically had a seizure when I tried to put his cool camo babybanz on him. Despite thinking it hilarious to steal my sunnies. Def try before you buy!! nicolemodesti
Baby Banz didn't work for us either! Now at 22 months he prefers glasses without a band/strap and requestd them to go outside with.
