Hi all,

We went yesterday. It has a lovely little under 5's playground with a slide down into a sandpit, two tiny swings (that toddlers can get on and swing themselves and love) and a big 'dish' type swing that takes about 4 children at once - which my 5 year old loved. Also some beams to balance across etc.

It isn't big so good for people like Fuschia with two to watch at once I'd say.

Outside that a run of 20 little water spouts that mostly bubble away at about 5" but shoot up taller at intervals - both girls loved these.

The loos and cafe are right next to it and the cafe has a lovely shady garden, it felt like we were abroad on holiday!

Car park right next to it too, though it can get busy.

If not sure where to go look up Chumleigh Gardens on the map.

Also an older childrens playground coming in the next stage of the development.

Molly

    • The couple who I joint own the freehold tend to dictate on what work is needed. I usually just pay half but they usually decide the contractors to use.
    • I am sorry to  continue this, but I found your previous  comment about me very personal,  disturbing and upsetting, which was why I responded at length. I'm sorry it bored you. I try to stick to facts. I have investigated. You (and anyone else) can go into the "search" settings on here and  do a search on an author's name. So you can (I presume) find all my posts, including any which were  replying  to you. I can't imagine that they are in greater numbers than my replies to anyone else, but you can see for yourself. I guess you can probably also find examples of what you call my "usual sarcasm". I wasn't aware that l had a tendency to sarcasm, though I do find a lot of things funny.  There is no need to reply to this unless you actually find evidence in support of what you said. Sorry everybody else. I had to get it off my chest as I was lying awake last night worrying about it 😭

    • The Section 20 is just notification of intention to carry out works.  You have the right to object, propose an alternative or find different contractors. If you are joint freeholders why is your co freeholder acting unilaterally?  What is your usual mechanism for making decisions?
