Is there a safe paint you can use to repaint a cot?

I've just bought an old pine cot but would like to spruce it up in a nice colour. Can anyone recommend a safe paint to use?

We have only used the 'safe paints' on walls, but there are safe paints for wood out there too.

Try Ecos Organic Paints - seem to be free from all sorts of things!

there is a lovely new shop near east dulwich station, I'm sure they'd have eco organic paints. can't remember what it's called, opp blackbird bakery/cafe

Its called 'Siecle' selling Dofine paints. A lovely shop, and they sell Eco friendly paints. Have a look!

and gorgeous wallpaper (I walk past it often on my way home from work) what time does it close? how much is the wallpaper? I'd like to do a feature wall in 1 of my childs bedrooms so i don't think I'd need lots, 1 roll maybe.

It's a gorgeous shop with a fab range of colours. Also, having just painted my stairs with the paint, it is lovely to use, washes up easily and no fumes - almost made painting a pleasure! And of course (the main reason I used it) felt a lot safer to use around my newish baby.

I'm not connected to the shop at all - just satisfied and hope it does well and therefore sticks around.
