I've found phoning them to be effective. The central complaints people, not the delivery office. They investigated and got back to me. I wouldn't think your MP would be too happy if you hadn't gone down the Royal Mail complaints route first. -

Hello! I have just moved into an unfurnished flat in East Dulwich and am in need of some furnishings. I need a bed, wardrobe and a small chest of drawers as well as some side table-y bits to make it look nicer. The stairway up to the flat is 70cm wide so things need to be able to fit through that and the room isn't huge so a double bed or smaller is needed. We also need any lounge furniture (sofa, coffee table etc). Have a car (albeit quite small) so can pick up if it'll fit. Thanks in advance
