Most Supermarkets you come out with more stuff than you intended to buy..

In the Co-op .. you are lucky to find even the stuff you went in there for..

It's like de ja vu

If you've been lucky enough to already have a guided tour of the place AND received a floor plan you will see that M&S Dulwich is just the same as every other M&S Food hall. I really don't understand why everyone is so excited (on both sides) for this addition to the area.

For the shops that will suffer, and many will especially the independent ones, from their arrival it's a simple case of "I told you so"

Only repeating what M&S reps have said to the neighbours. They're the ones being coy about it...

My point was that anything could happen *throws arms in air*

the Coop is the pits, as is well documented by me here : so many items unpriced, milk sours quickly, dilatory staff and service, understocked, first time for weeks they have had regular humous, despite snide remarks, this is an important component of ED life but no one there cares. The shop is dismal and depressing and mega expensive. The queues are infamous. And for those of you who do not check labels, buying fish or meals containing chicken, check the origin. What we really really need, is a Cook, nearest West Dulwich, lamb tagline, rice, dessert, yum. I cannot get excited about M&S

its so beige. They do not even have a non dairy/vegan option in sandwiches or ready meals, so way behind the zeitgeist,

if we cannot have meat, dairy, wheat or eggs, then ready meal store providing what is required (market research anyone) would be welcome, as it is, nothing has changed or evolved or improved for years.

sela you don't want to believe everything you see in print. We love good food, cooking, entertaining, eating out, and occasionally, fish and chips/curry/Thai takeaway, we want the options, we all work hard and need nutrition, we enjoy the eating/dining experience, you will note that there is no KFC or Wimpy or McDonalds along this stretch of highway or ever likely to be.

Kebab and wine also do takeaway burgers as do GBK so it's not that far off having McDonald's / wimpy style restaurants.

There is an M&S Food Hall sign up on the outside now next to the show shop, so I no longer think they are trying to keep this quiet for a surprise opening.

How do you know that.. ?

Have you compared all of them .. ?

Are M&S ready meals not processed then.. ?

Do M&S Ready meals not cointain .. salt.. sugar.. polyols.. artificial colourings.. e-numbers.. preservatives . ?

Do they contain less saturated fats.. ?

Are they any of more nutritonal value .. ?

Are they Healthier.. ?

What do you base your statement above on .. ?

I went once to one on LL and certainly wasn't impressed with their. My dear wife has cut my hair ever since. I don't believe in supporting criminals. • Do you know a Spanish lady called Maria who lives in East Dulwich? My partner is helping a woman she met on Crystal Palace Road this afternoon. She seems confused and unsure where to go. She is in her late 60s, with short grey/dark hair, Black puffer jacket blue tracksuit. Apparently her daughter is also called Maria and lives locally. If anyone knows her please call me on 07980308743. Thanks, Chris
