Has anyone recently bought a suit for a boy?

My sons are 9 and 12 and will be attending a family funeral. I need to get them a suit each and would have previously just gone straight to BHS. Now I'm wandering where to go. M&S and River Island have them but are too expensive.

I'll try Matalan and Asda but wandered if anyone could recommend anywhere please.

I got one from Next for my son a year ago for a wedding - has lasted well - you could always use their dark school trousers and put together with a smart shirt and tie and omit the jacket if you are able to - they would still look really smart

M & S do nice boys Blazers/jackets I had to buy for a funeral for sons similar age & got nice pin stripe ones from there with a lovely funky lining that they have worn to a lot of other things too.

Do people still dress formally for a funeral? A nice v neck jumper over a shirt with dark trousers seems to be an acceptable compromise from the funerals I have attended or a waistcoat over long sleeved shirt and tie.

I don't believe that anyone expects children to be suited for funerals

Dark trousers and casual smart should suffice
